PM Courses and Impostor Syndrome
In Brazil, a famous PM Course is used to run an annual research about the Product Management Market. One of the topics is about Impostor Syndrome.
Ironically, this syndrome is the reflex of the PM Courses throwing piles of shallow content about techniques and frameworks.
The students end the course thinking that they know everything they need to manage a product, and then they get burned out 🤯trying to apply everything, doing a lot of stuff, but getting low or no results.
Most of PM courses just create INFOxication and mental obesity. Overwhelming and slowing the process of making progress and getting great results.
It seems this happens everywhere.
